I recently stayed at Ostello Bello for a few nights and it was fantastic. The staff, especially Genie at reception, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even upgraded my room after a mishap with the shower door. The cleanliness of the rooms, complete with their own bathrooms, was impressive. The hostel had a great social scene and the location was perfect, close to the train station and major landmarks. The use of the Goki app for door access and the laundry facilities were also convenient additions.
I can recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Ostello Bello in the heart of Florence. The location was perfect, just steps away from the city center. The hostel was comfortable, clean, and had spacious rooms. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe in the female-only dorms and even had a private balcony/terrace. The facilities were great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a variety of savory and sweet options, and there were even free treats like coffee and a welcome drink. The hostel organized fun activities for guests to bond, like karaoke and "make your own pizza." I would definitely stay here again.

The hostel is conveniently located near the train and bus stations, making it really easy to reach. This is great for travelers who want to explore the city or take day trips to nearby destinations. the hostel is within walking distance to the main attractions, allowing guests to save time and money on transportation.
There was a bad smell coming from the street, which could be quite unpleasant. this is something that is beyond the hostel's control, and there isn't much they can do about it.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, with all the major attractions and the train station within a short walking distance. It made it easy for me to explore the city and get around. I also appreciated the free coffee and snacks that were available, especially for those early mornings when I had to catch an early train or visit a museum. Another advantage was the great bathroom facilities, even though they were shared among the guests. There were toilets on the main floors which came in handy during emergencies.
There were some aspects of my stay that I didn't enjoy. the mattresses were uncomfortable and felt like laying on a sheet of hard plastic.
